A solicitor from Talbots Law has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to charitable and community causes across Shropshire.
Rachel Raybould-Dear, Commercial Property Solicitor at Talbots Law’s Telford office, was named Community and Social Responsibility Leader of the Year at the Shropshire Junior Lawyers’ Division annual awards.
The award recognises Rachel’s continued commitment to supporting local charities, volunteering her time and raising awareness of causes that make a difference to communities across the county.
Rachel has been particularly involved in supporting Severn Hospice, which provides specialist care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.
The award was presented during an evening organised by the Shropshire Junior Lawyers’ Division, with funds raised at the event donated to Severn Hospice. The connection made the recognition particularly meaningful given Rachel’s longstanding support for the charity.
Rachel’s achievement also reflects Talbots Law’s wider commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates. With offices across Shropshire, including Telford, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury, the firm works with local organisations, charities and community groups as part of its commitment to making a positive contribution to the regions it serves.
Talbots Law said Rachel’s dedication to community involvement is something the firm is incredibly proud of and actively encourages.
“Rachel gives her time generously to causes that make a real difference to people throughout Shropshire, and this award is testament to her dedication.”
Community involvement is a key part of Talbots Law’s ethos, with Rachel providing an excellent example of how professionals can make a positive contribution beyond their day-to-day roles.
The Shrewsbury Business Chamber would like to congratulate Rachel on this well-deserved recognition and celebrate her continued commitment to supporting the Shropshire community.
