We’ve launched a new award to recognise and celebrate businesses across the town that go above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer service.
The Shrewsbury Business Chamber Customer Service Award 2026, sponsored by insight6, is open to businesses across Shrewsbury, including those that are not currently Chamber members.
The new initiative will recognise the importance of customer experience to the town’s business community, with entrants assessed independently by customer experience specialists insight6.
Businesses are invited to put themselves forward for the award, with insight6 bringing its customer experience expertise to the judging process and independently selecting the overall winner through mystery shopping.
The winner will be revealed at Shrewsbury Business Chamber’s Annual Christmas Dinner on Thursday 3rd December at Origins Restaurant, London Road, Shrewsbury.

“There are some brilliant businesses in Shrewsbury doing a great job for their customers, and we wanted to recognise that.
“insight6 will bring an independent view to the judging, based on the actual customer experience. We’ve also opened the award up beyond our membership – it’s a good opportunity to celebrate local businesses and hopefully get to know a few more of them too.”
The award is being supported by insight6 Worcestershire & Shropshire, part of the national customer experience specialist insight6. The company works with organisations to understand and improve the experience they provide to their customers, including through mystery shopping and customer experience programmes.
